Getting here by car

The University of Bayreuth's campus is located at the south end of town, only 900 metres from road leading to the "Bayreuth-Süd" exit from the A9 motorway. This map shows the town of Bayreuth in greater detail  (provided by the Städte-Verlag publishing house).

Getting here using the public transportation

You will find a taxi stand and bus stops right in front of Bayreuth's train station. If you don't want to take a taxi straight to the University, Bus 316 will take you to the campus. Alternatively, you can take several lines from the central bus station ("ZOH") to the University. From there, Bus 306 and Bus 304 will bring you to the campus.
